The world is full of suffering. People are starving; volcanoes erupt and bury whole villages. If God is so great why did he make a world where bad things happen to good people? Investigate a disaster in the world and present what suffering was caused, this could be a documentary or a newspaper article (etc.). Explain why this might show that God doesn’t exist.
It’s a problem as old as the hills. Well, the two and a half thousand year old hills. How can there be a God who loves us and cares for us and yet there is suffering in the world? If God has the power to stop suffering, why doesn’t He do it? If God loves us and wants to stop suffering, why doesn’t He do it? Answer, because he’s not real!!!
Look at any newspaper headline and you’ll see things going wrong in the world. Find a story. Tell us what bad things are happening to good people and then tell us why this might suggest God doesn’t exist.
